How do I prepare to enter a STEM degree?

In regards to entering a STEM degree, what is the best way to prepare for classes? Any specific classes to watch out for? Furthermore, what about balancing mental health? Answers are greatly appreciated, thank you!

Anyone aspiring for a STEAM degree should start with all science and math. Once you have the math foundation, you will be in a good place academically. Mental health?? Mental health should be practiced, STEM or not. Make sure to have a strong circle of friends and have confidence in yourself. Do not be afraid of asking for help. You've got this.
