How can i do everything i want with a strong plan that will carry out ?

What i mean is that if i got into the college that i wanted ( i did ) for business as a major but its more like 2 years for an associates and transfer to a bigger university to finish off and get my bachelors. In the same sense i want to go to cosmetology school, but i don't know whether to do that before or after college. I want to go to cosmetology school because i want to have my own business in hair you know. I do have all the basic skills needed to do hair so do i really need cosmetology school ? should i go straight to college ?

You have a strong foundation! Your current enrollment in college for business is a huge asset; this knowledge will be crucial for understanding the business mindset required to successfully own and operate your own salon. In Virginia, obtaining your cosmetology license requires 1,000 clock hours (typically 25–30 weeks). Based on your time-management abilities, you have two main paths:
- Starting a part-time course (e.g., night classes), which will take longer.
- Starting the program after you complete college.
The best choice here depends entirely on your determination and availability.
One crucial piece of advice I received from a cosmetologist is to find a strong mentor. Mentorship is essential for success in three key areas: perfecting your styling abilities, business management, and accounting.

It is important to remember that this path will present challenges. While you may experience moments of difficulty, these are the very experiences that will forge your character and lead to your eventual triumph.
