Hello,
I have found that finding ways to be a continuous learner improves me personally and professionally. I have recommended these FREE resources and webinars to my students:
I would recommend reviewing Social-Emotional Resources and free webinars offered by CASEL = The Collaborative for Academic and Social Emotional Learning. They are a nationally recognized organization that a number of school districts rely on. Try the free 1 hour "Intro to SEL course" https://casel.org/professional-development/
Watch this great video on YouTube : Rita Pierson: Every kid needs a champion | TED Talk
Other free webinars on this topic (You can also earn certificates that can be added to your resume/profile): a) Learning for Justice: https://www.learningforjustice.org/professional-development/webinars?field_topic_target_id=All&field_professional_development_t_target_id_reference=86083

Great question. I'm a huge fan of Maya Angelou's quote, "When you know better, you do better." Learn as much as you can about childhood development, psychology, religion and philosophy which makes you think about things in a new way and challenge your existing beliefs and perceptions of the world. Add anthropology and study a different culture along with travel anywhere outside of your native homeland. All of these things will give you new ways to approach the world and yourself.
