What is the best way to perfect landings every time?

What is the best way to perfect landings every time? I am in flight school, and landings are where I am getting caught up! How did you consistently land well while training?

Cadence - Since no 2 landings are the same it just takes practice.
At the field where I learned to fly you could get the following types of pattern entries.
A. Normal entry, ie enter on the downwind leg and fly a standard traffic pattern,
B. Straight-In.
C. Do a mid-field base and use the last half of the runway, this was a 10000 ft runway, so in a Cessna 150 or 172 this was not a problem.
You just need to practice, practice, practice.
When you are on a "short final" your airspeed, altitude, etc should be setup and you should have your vision of the runway touchdown point set. You should only have to make minor adjustments to your airspeed and descent speed.
If you are not getting the results you want with your instructor, you can always ask for another instructor to work with you on the landings. He might have a slightly different procedure or method of instruction and see something in your technique that your current instructor doesn't.
Best regards and happy landings.
