What was the most challenging part about going into orthodontics?
Pre-dental field. Majoring in Bio. Class of 2026. Orthodontics is what I hope to do in the future.

The hardest part of becoming an orthodontist is the long, competitive journey:
High academic standards in science courses
Dental school admission (strong GPA, DAT scores, shadowing)
Cost (tuition and residency are expensive)
Residency selection (very competitive)
Time commitment (10+ years from undergrad to residency)
