Focus on your weakest subject(s) the most as they'll naturally be one that makes or break you.
Make a study schedule. Proper and consistent time to study each day.
I suggest alternating the subject every day depending on how many you have so one day you study for two subject and then the next day two different subjects.
Get yourself into a quiet place. Too many distractions can be ineffective.
Are you a visual or audio learner? Knowing how you best absorb the information can help you actually retain it.
A trick I used is saying everything out loud repeatedly or writing it down repeatedly. Repetition is like routine if you do it enough you basically memorize it.
Have someone flash quiz you.
Hope these help.

I like both answers, and if I were you I'd look them over again.
Yet, you state that you do not wish to waste any time. I can go along with that.
First, I think it would depend upon the subject and your background and interest in it. If you have an interest in the subject then, in my opinion, a good deal of your study has already been done, not only because of your background knowledge, but it is easier to pick up new material and integrate it. For me it was history.
The problem comes with academic subjects you do not have a particular interest in, yet are nonetheless taking the course for whatever reason.
You have your work cut out for you. But at least hopefully, you have more time for these subject challenges.
When I was confronted with such subjects, it started with organizing the material in such a way that it simply became a step by step process, and then, (gasp) over and over again. Not fun, but you can move on at least.
And that takes me back to your other answers. Good advice, especially for the subjects that you are not attracted to.

Start your test preparation by creating a daily study plan well before the test date. This routine not only helps you learn the material but also boosts your confidence, making you feel calmer during the exam. Remember, many mistakes happen when you're anxious or unsure. Tailor your study approach to the test type. For a history test, read and understand key ideas in a quiet spot, and listen to recorded lectures if you can. Math tests can be challenging, so practice problems often. I once struggled with a math problem and felt frustrated. I took a short walk outside, and when I returned, the solution was clear. A little fresh air and exercise can really help clear your mind and reduce stress.

Jerome’s Answer
When I was in school, I would read through the chapter and highlight things I thought were important, making sure to pay special attention to any footnotes. I would then go through the information one more time and I would write out notes (sometimes typing them). One weeks were there were test coming up. I would review all my typed out notes one more time. It was a little redundant, but the reputation created memory.
Other than that, I made sure to find a place that I would not be distracted to do my studying. Sometimes this was out in the courtyard under a tree and sometimes it was in the library or student center.

Thank you for your question.
Below are my suggestions:
1. After the classes each day, review the material covered in the class of the day. If you have any questions, ask the teacher on the next school day.
2. Keep review the material covered regularly
3. Practise on past papers if available
4. Schedule more time for revision before assessment
5. Form study group with classmates that can help you to deepen the understanding and strengthen the memories
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
