Hi! I would ask around, ask friends or family members who they know that might be hiring. Ask people where they work, and do they enjoy the atmosphere.
Ask people you know where they work

Are there folks you can talk to in your family or friend circle that may know of openings that fit you and can help get you in the door. You will come to find that a strong network of people who can vouge for you is going to be extremely important throughout your career!
You may also want to check with any programs through your school or guidance counselor; which are other trusted sources
Good Luck!

The best way to get your foot in the door without any prior experience is to start with a professional-looking resume that highlights your school projects, volunteer work, or even chores and sports, because those show you are responsible and ready to work. You should check out reputable sites like Indeed or even LinkedIn, but honestly, for a first job, walking into local businesses like grocery stores, cafes, or retail shops and asking if they are hiring is still one of the most effective moves you can make. It lets them see your personality right away, which matters way more than a long work history at this stage. You can also talk to your school counselor or check if your high school has a job board, since those leads are usually vetted and safe for students. Just remember that everyone starts exactly where you are right now, and it only takes one person to say yes to get everything moving. You have got a lot of great energy to offer a team and I know you will find the right fit soon. Good luck.

Hello, Rayna!
Finding work out of high school takes some time. As the great Lisa Landry once said "finding work is work." People will tell you that getting a job is about connections, but that isn't really possible to have when you've JUST graduated from high school. Connections come with time, and so does job experience. That being said, here's what I recommend you do:
1. Write a resume. If you already have one, that's great. You just don't need work experience to have one. Here's a link to a website that has some resume samples specifically for people fresh out of high school: https://www.resume-now.com/build-resume/choose-template.
2. When you apply to jobs ALWAYS Google the company first. Look them up and make sure they have some kind of website, Google Maps location, or things that verify it exists. This could help prevent you from getting kidnapped. If you're feeling REALLY worried though, I recommend using Glassdoor to look up any companies you're applying to work for. You'll have to make an account, but it's a great resource for applying to jobs.
3. I recommend using websites such as LinkedIn or Indeed to find jobs. They're two of the most popular job sites, so many companies use them to post careers. Only take jobs from people with "verified" tags if they message you on either of these sites though.
4. Look at the places near where you live and ask yourself "could I work here?" If you see a place you like that you passed while driving through town or exploring where you live, look into applying to work there. Some places are taking plenty of part-time workers year-round. So, the sky is the limit.
