Hi karma. Firstly, I’d like to start by advising you that if god called you to it (medicine for e.g) don’t think there isn’t room for you. You are here for a reason and that’s the very first step, to believe in yourself. Secondly if you wish to attend med school in India, it’s best that you focus on your upcoming NEET ug exams by staying consistent and showing determination because with discipline and hard work you can make it happen. The other option would be to pursue a medicine degree outside of India. This is a tedious process and one has to write a licensing exam once you’re back so keep that in mind. Lastly, I wish you good luck because it is only a matter of time before you’ll be where you wish to be! Any further questions are welcomed, if you need particular insight on med school etc. GOOD LUCK!

Good for you for thinking through potential career paths, Karma. If you get into medical school, but not a surgery rotation, there are many other areas of medicine.
If you have a science major and decide not to go to medical school, there still are many options, such as going into research, working in public health, or working for a healthcare or medical company.
I have put a link below to a site for biosciences jobs in India. You could also set up job agents on LinkedIn or Indeed.com to see what jobs they post.
Wishing you good luck!
