While I am not a writer, Brandon Sanderson, one of the best-selling authors currently, has free courses on YouTube for learning how to become a writer and the actual business that goes along with that.

If you want to be an author, go for it and follow your dream.

If you're already thinking about the challenges, maybe it's not the right time yet. Writing can be tough, and you need to be really passionate because it requires a lot of time, patience, and energy.

Most authors don't earn a lot right away, so it's a good idea to have other writing-related jobs, like writing articles, working as a technical writer, or doing freelance work. This way, you can keep writing your stories without worrying about money.

In the end, it's about loving writing more than anything else. The rest will come later.
