How do you continue to be passionate about your career when the work load gets to be too much? #Spring26

I have been working part time and taking 15 credits, and I am super passionate about my field of study but I am scared I am going to burn out and my desire to be in this career will fade. I need help with knowing how to keep that passion alive.

I've been in a similar situation, working full-time and taking night classes. If work got too much, I would reduce my class load or take a semester off. While it might seem tough because you want to finish college quickly, remember to keep your end goal in sight. Stay passionate about your field of study, even when things get heavy. Stay focused, and soon enough, you'll reach the finish line.

Glad that you are thinking through how to balance work and academics. This is tough for sure, so first of all, kudos to you for balancing so much at once.
Keep your passion in your field of study by continuing your education. If possible, try to get a paid internship in your field of study. This will further enhance your experience and make you more attractive when you graduate and look for a full time position.
Slow down when things get too overwhelming. Decide if you want to reduce your work hours or whether to reduce your classes. Seek advice from your school guidance counselor or any other trusted adult as to what makes sense in your situation.

Given that you are thinking through all this thoughtfully already shows your maturity. I am confident that you will excel in your career of choice. Good Luck!
