I found doing practice questions/tests to be most helpful, esp in combination with First Aid. I remember U-World being good for questions. If you have a particularly weak subject, focus on that or buy a specialized subject review book. But I found UWorld and First Aid to be best and most straightforward combo.

Hey Malik! I would say a lot of practice tests, things like active recall and flashcards as you move along med school content because the information is volatile! You could practice active recall with your AI tools like chatgpt or Gemini! And ask them to create clinical quizzes for you if you don’t want to take up a subscription it’s that simple! You could read a topic and then ask them to either practice active recall with or create questions for you. But obviously eventually once you’re in dedicated I would recommend a question bank like Uworld. This exam is definitely a marathon and it’s built on several years of information so take it one day at a time otherwise it gets very overwhelming!! Also don’t sleep on amazing resources like pathoma, if you can find time to integrate that along with med school lectures, it would be really helpful and there’s a free lecture on immunology by med school bootcamp on YouTube and it’s such a wonderful resource for immunology. It helped me a lot. Good luck!!! Feel free to ask more questions if you have any.

I found that it was a lot more fun to study with friends. We would sit around a table quizzing one another, alternating learning with laughter and jokes. As you do the memorization, try to think about why these things matter. Connecting the learning to real-life helping others builds stronger memories.
