Practice active reading- Read short paragraphs, re-read it and then make pointer either by writing it down or use a highlighter. Do this for one chapter. Relook at the highlighted points once again as part of summarising. On the second day before starting a new chapter, revise on the previous days points to do a quick recall. Solve questions related to the paragraph. Even if you fail, redo it as this will improve retention.
Wrting down pointer will help.
Make short study sessions- Study for 1 hour and take a quick breather of 5-10 mins before the next session.
Test yourself by relooking at what was studied, every couple of days. Make revising a regular habit.
Have a good sleep of 7-8 hours every day. A good sleep improves memory.

There isn’t really a “magic trick” for studying. What actually works is consistent practice and repetition.
If you’re having trouble remembering things, it’s usually because you haven’t gone over the material enough times. Try to review it repeatedly—read it, write it down, and test yourself. Each time you revisit the same content, your understanding gets a little deeper and your memory becomes stronger.
Instead of searching for the perfect method, focus on building a habit of showing up every day. Even simple techniques, when repeated consistently, are far more effective than constantly switching strategies.
In the end, studying is less about finding shortcuts and more about putting in steady, repeated effort.

Hey Gabriella! I’m someone who struggles sitting through hours!!! I hate it absolutely. But you can practice active recall with AI tools!! It makes the process fun and interactive. Try reading a topic and then asking AI to practice active recall. It hammers the topic in your brain well and you find the entire thing a little less boring. Try and let me know if that helps!! Good luck. 🤍
