What are some of the the most benificial actions I can take now as a college student to prepare myself for a future career as a dance teacher and studio owner ?

I am currently a freshman in college majoring in Arts Administration. Some of my interests include dancing, singing, drawing, and painting. My biggest goal is to become a dance studio owner one day and help young dancers pursue their own passion.

Hi Jacey! Start by researching what you need to know about logistics, skills, finances, and tasks for running your own studio. Then, make a plan with specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals to tackle each step toward your main goal. Also, choose the age groups you want to teach and learn how teaching methods might differ for each group.
