Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to manage both school and academics as a college freshman?

I'm an incoming freshman who will need a job to afford to go to school

The best way to handle this is to treat your schedule like a roadmap where every hour has a specific purpose, including time for rest so you don't burn out. Since you are working to fund your degree, don't hesitate to look for on-campus jobs because they are usually much more flexible with your exam schedule than off-campus employers might be. You'll find that staying ahead of your assignments by just a few days can take a huge weight off your shoulders when a work shift pops up unexpectedly. Remember that you aren't just a student or an employee, you're someone building a foundation for your future, and that kind of hustle is going to serve you well long after graduation. Good luck.
