What actions should I take to begin building my career in animation while I'm in college rather than waiting until after graduation? #Spring26

I'm curious to know if there are any recommended actions or habits I should start doing to be better prepared for a career in animation, as I take classes. I think it's important to seek out growth opportunities, whether through networking, mentorship, or animation summer internships.

Hi Desiree, You can start building your animation career by first starting small by; Learn your laws of animations, make some short exercise , and some short animations displaying character acting. You can start with that, and then move to much bigger things like making short films. However for this you have to learn how to storyboarding and produce animatics. Trust me this will make things easier.

As for where to learn this; you can learn through YouTube, and storyboard.com.
