What is the best way to prepare for a early education classroom?

I am a sophomore in Early Childhood Education with a minor in special education. I just started as a substitute teacher, but I am unsure of what else to do to prepare for my future classroom.

Hi! You don't need to prepare for much right now! The reason for this is because teaching is so in-the-moment. Once you do become a teacher and have your class roster, you will know how to set us desks. Your classroom can be creative and fun. Start to look around when you student teach. Create some Pinterest boards, but most of all trust yourself. Bright colors, fun images, a weather chart, numbers, letters and a calendar are the basics for this age group. Think of ways to use your classroom as interactive as possible to keep the children interested in learning.
