Congrats on your interest. Forensics uses a mix of strong writing for reporting, high level of detail, and strong math and science skills. A top skill that makes a great forensic scientist is being able to stay professional and neutral throughout the entirety of an inquiry so you can report unbiased information. Also, being an active listener can help you stay alert and receptive to verbal and physical cues from law enforcement officers. This can also help you evaluate all possible scenarios while analyzing findings and data.
Since you are already in the middle of studying to become a forensic science, you will strengthen all the above skills. College requires handling tight deadlines and multiple activities. It's the perfect training ground for the field that you are studying. Keep going! The payoff will be great!
