Do externships for X-ray Tech programs usually pay well or at all?
Pretty self Explanatory, I'm about to start my X-ray tech program which will involve an externship and I was wondering what the pay is usually like.

Normally speaking, most X-ray tech externships required by school programs are unpaid, as they count toward your academic credit and are considered past of your formal training rather than paid employment.
But a few of private clinics, outpatient imaging center or larger hospital systems might offer stipends or hourly pay for externs, the typical wage ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, though these opportunities are less common.
