Pretty self Explanatory, I'm about to start my X-ray tech program which will involve an externship and I was wondering what the pay is usually like.

Once I complete my certification I want to go into working at the hospital, but a lot of people recommend working retail like Walgreens or CVS.

I am currently a junior is highschool

For context, still an intern but i feel like i'm slow in progress so I was wondering what to do. Choices are the ff:
a. finish tasks EOD, can overttime , new tasks next day
b. do not finish tasks outside work -> lead to stress -> slow progress, behind timeline

Is it ideal to seek out internships, or should I let opportunities find me? Is it best to try to get a deal with a news source and pump out work? Or do I shadow experienced sportswriters and hone my skills? The world after college feels so broad, so I would appreciate advice on how to find guidance.
