What do I have to do in order to be fully prepared for job interviews I’m talking specifically in the business field. Are there any common questions that ask you??

I’ve never been to a real job interview and I’m nervous for them. I just want to be fully prepared and ready.

I have conducted 1000s of interviews. Here are a few tips:

Be professionally presentable (dressed well, hair done, etc.). Wear your best clothes, even if the job is entry level
Learn about the company ahead of time
Be polite
Speak clearly
Bring your resume
Answer honestly
Ask questions

Tell me about yourself, Why do you want this job?, What are your strengths and weaknesses?, Tell me about a time you solved a problem, Describe a time you worked on a team, How do you handle deadlines or difficult clients?, and Where do you see yourself in a few years? For business interviews, they may also ask why you want to work in business, how you analyze situations, or how you would handle a tough workplace situation. My recommendation: practice answering out loud so your responses sound natural, not memorized.

I recommend researching the company you are interviewing with. Your answers will be more impressive if they relate to the company's specific business and industry. Learn about how they work, their recent history like mergers or stock prices, and important company projects. For big companies, you can start by looking at their quarterly results and analyst meetings.

First, be yourself. It's important to feel comfortable when talking to the interviewer. Pretending to be someone else usually shows, and being at ease makes answering questions simpler.

Practice answering common interview questions like "tell me about your experience," "why do you want to work here," and "describe a difficult team situation you handled." The more questions you review, the less likely you'll be caught off guard.

If you can, record yourself on video or ask someone to watch you as you practice. Focus on your body language, as interviewers pay attention to this too.

Also, prepare thoughtful questions for the interviewer. Avoid asking things you can easily find on their website. Instead, come up with 1-2 questions that show you've researched the company. Attending information sessions or watching company videos can help you craft questions that show genuine interest, which many companies value.
