What is a good way to negotiate with scholarship providers to approve more funds?
For my university, I pay a large part of tuition and costs through scholarships, and I know that I could talk to people to negotiate an increase in my scholarships, but I don't know how to contact them or how to properly negotiate with them. These scholarships come from the universities, but they don't really provide a direct person as the head of the scholarship.

Begin by contacting your university's financial assistance office, as this is the best place to start. Schedule an in-person meeting if possible; it is more effective than email. When you arrive, be honest and explicit, and bring documentation of any financial hardship, tuition increases, or additional fees that they may not have considered. Also, compose a formal appeal letter that explains your situation, academic performance, and why you require additional support. Highlight your GPA, engagement, and any successes after earning the scholarship. Schools want to invest in students that excel. Also, inquire particularly about any extra institutional scholarships for which you may be eligible but have yet to receive.
