Hi Ariana,
I get why NYU is your dream school; it sounds amazing! I want to share a bit about my own experience. I didn't finish school or go to university.
For a while, I worried that not having a degree would hold me back. But I found out that in the real world, your determination, eagerness to learn, and work ethic matter more than a diploma.
If you're unsure about university or feel it's not an option because of your past schooling, don't be discouraged. Here's what I learned from taking a different path:
The internet is a great resource: You can learn almost anything online now through courses, bootcamps, and self-study.
Experience is more important than a degree: Many fields, especially creative ones, tech, and business, care more about what you can do and the portfolio you create than where you studied.
Your journey is your own: Not going to university doesn't mean you can't have the career you want. It just means you can build it in your own way.
Whether you aim for NYU later or start learning your career path on your own now, know you have what it takes to succeed. Trust your journey!

Hi Ariana!
What a fantastic question! For me, choosing my university was special because my whole family went there, so it felt like a tradition. Plus, it offered a great education. I loved the campus atmosphere too; even though we were in the desert, being there every day made me feel at ease. When you're deciding, think about what you want to study and research schools that draw you in. College was one of the best experiences of my life. It's a place where you can truly be yourself, leaving high school behind. You'll find more freedom, and the choices you make will shape your future. I hope this helps you see how the little things can make your college experience amazing.
Wishing you all the best!

Hi Ariana,
I first decided what I want to major in. This changed a few times during my high-school years. Initially, I wanted to be a teacher. Then I thought I would do something with languages, like translator or interpreter, because I enjoyed learning languages. It was only in my last 3 years of high-school that I fell in love with sciences and decided to major in a STEM field.
Once I had that settled, I researched the universities that offered the degree I wanted to find out what the major differences between programs were. I also visited a few universities when they had open days for high-school students. Luckily, I fell in love with a university town in my state that had a great university and a great program in my field, and that's where I went.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!
