It is great that you are interested in nursing since there continues to be a great need for nurses in our healthcare system. The first link below provides more information about becoming a travel nurse.
The minimum requirement to be a travel nurse is to be a Registered Nurse and have certain life-support and specialty certifications (may vary between states). The minimum time to become a Registered Nurse is 2 years of school, plus however long it takes to pass the NYCLEX exam and get a state license. The second link below provides more information about becoming an RN. As of 2024, it took 4-6 weeks to get an RN license in Missouri after all paperwork is submitted.
