Hi Bianca. You could look for jobs such as administrative assistant, office assistant, customer service representative, sales support specialist, receptionist, operations assistant, or data entry clerk. These positions can help you gain practical business experience while you complete your degree.
You may also consider roles like bank teller, retail supervisor, accounts assistant, or human resources assistant if those opportunities are available. These jobs can introduce you to different areas of business and help you decide what interests you most.
While working, continue building your skills by learning Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis. These skills are commonly required in business roles and can make your resume more competitive.

Do What You Like Doing! Find A Job Which Brings Value To Your Life.
Your degree just places a notch for you in the hiring process of businesses or industries that you love.
When you are picked up at some point, learn that business. Become a subject matter expert, which will take time.
but if in a business that you love, you would have never worked a day in your life. Do what you love! Everyone else can slep in misery.

It’s great that you’re thinking about gaining experience while still in school. That will make your transition into the workforce much easier.
With an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and your receptionist experience, you already have relevant office and communication skills. You can apply for entry-level roles such as administrative assistant, office assistant, receptionist in a larger organization, or office coordinator.
If you’re open to building additional skills alongside your studies like Excel, reporting, or basic data handling, you could also qualify for roles such as project assistant, junior business analyst, or market research assistant.
Since you already have experience at the front desk, focusing on roles in structured office environments will help you move toward higher responsibilities over time.

Bianca, since you already have receptionist experience, the best jobs to look for while finishing your associate degree in business administration are administrative assistant, office coordinator, customer service representative, or front desk specialist. These jobs match the skills you already have, like communication, scheduling, and handling office tasks.
You should also look for entry-level roles that help you build business experience, such as office clerk, scheduling assistant, or operations support. These positions can help you grow into better jobs later in HR, office management, or business operations.
## Smart next move
If you want the easiest transition, aim first for an administrative assistant or office coordinator role rather than something that requires heavy prior business experience. Those jobs usually build directly on receptionist duties and can help you grow into HR, operations, accounting support, or office management later. A simple strategy for Bianca: apply to 10–15 jobs a week, tailor your resume to each posting, and lead with your receptionist experience as proof that you can already do professional office work.
