Hi Ivan,
I want to commend your incredible resilience. Balancing studies with financial challenges and farming, especially during tough times like COVID and drought, is no small feat. Your determination to continue your education shows just how committed you are.

For tuition loans or financial support, here are some steps you can consider:

Education Financing Options:

1. Talk to your university's financial aid office. They might offer payment plans, emergency help, or work with local banks.

2. Check with local banks and microfinance institutions like Centenary Bank, Equity Bank, or Stanbic for student loans. They might also have short-term education loans.

3. Look into government programs like the Higher Education Students Financing Board (HESFB) for possible opportunities.

4. Explore NGOs and foundations such as the MasterCard Foundation or Aga Khan Foundation for scholarships or grants.

Alternative Support:

1. Community or church groups might be able to help pool resources for students.

2. Look for flexible work-study jobs at the university, like in the library or admin roles, to help reduce fees.

3. Consider using crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe to share your story and seek support.

My Personal Advice:

Don’t handle this alone, speak with your school’s administration. They often have more options than you might think.

If loans seem risky, focus on installment plans or partial scholarships to ease the pressure.

Keep farming as a side income if you can but try to focus on your studies as education is a long-term investment.

You have already shown great persistence, Ivan. Even if things are tough now, finding a loan or partial support could be the key to continuing your education. Wishing you all the very best in getting your financial aid for studies.
