Every day as an automotive engineer brings something new. You'll dive into designs and drawings, use CAD/CAE tools, analyze test results, and work on fixing any issues that pop up. You'll also help with maintenance, check parts, and collaborate with technicians and other engineers. Your day might take you from the office to the workshop, the production area, or even a testing site.
Solving problems is a big part of your role. When things don't go as planned, you'll dig deep to find the cause, check the data, examine parts, test solutions, and make sure the fix works. You'll keep records to help prevent future issues. Being detail-oriented, practical, and a good communicator will help you succeed every step of the way.
