What are some good summer jobs to pay for college?

I am wondering what the best jobs will be for the summertime. I want to work as much as I can, I don't care about how long I work or what schedule I have, I just want to save up the most money in the shortest time!
Thanks!

I'd recommend summer camp working for a couple of reasons. First, it gives you a fun adventures to go on during the summer. Second, you will likely receive certifications for lifeguarding and/or ropes course work that you can use outside of the summer for part time work as your schedule shifts around. Third, you have a great opportunity to get to know the other workers well as you'll be spending most of your time with one another. If you're looking to be successful, any kind of networking will be helpful for you.

I have needed to make good money fast and found driving for uber or lift on the weekends and during free time can be very profitable. However, you do need a dependable car in good condition. there is also uber eats or the like that lets you deliver food instead of people.

Hi Michael!

Saving for college can seem overwhelming at times, but there can be quite a few different ways of making money, depending on your interests. When I was in college, I lived near the beach and I would clean beach houses on the weekends. This didn't take up a lot of my time, and paid pretty well. This allowed me time to have another job, where I worked in a call center during the week. This was a full time job, but did not require a college degree so I was able to make a decent wage and save my money. If you are looking for something with less commitment, you can also consider delivery services such as Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc, or even driving services such as Uber or Lyft. These can both be great ways to earn extra money, especially if you will be located in a college town during the summer. Keep in mind the benefit of scholarship essays that can be completed in a short amount of time, as these can go directly to your college tuition without feeling overwhelmed.

When attending college, I worked as a server in a restaurant. Shifts are often at night, so in addition to being a summer job, you ma be able to keep it up during the school term. The shifts are often shorter and more flexible than other jobs (if you need certain days or nights off for other obligations). I found the pay in this industry, with tips, to be higher than other options, and you can always pick up shifts to earn more.
