I have to follow Eric's response that more clarity is need to be able to give you an accurate answer. Based on the tag of STEM the answer is that any and all types of math are used. If your a programmer like I am, then depending on what area you specialize in you will use everything from basic arithmetic up to calculus and trigonometry. It's all relative to the field, and job that you are wanting to go into.
