Sheila’s Answer

Hello Jill:

I researched your question for your state of Ohio and it appears that "No school before 8:30 a.m." Ohio lawmaker unveils start time bill" is underway. I urge you to check with your local school district and/or the district or state you are interested in teaching in. I wish you best of luck!

Sean’s Answer

Well it depends on the school and the district you want to teach in. That information is publicly available on your school district websites so take a look and see what they say.

Now for the most part most elementary schools start at 8 and middle schools start at 7:30. But those can be reversed in certain districts or they can be at the same type depending on the school. Best bet look at your local districts websites or call them and if you are looking to get hired at a school do the same thing look at the website or call.
