If you could start your career path all over again, how would you do so? and why?

I am a senior at Brennan High School and i’m interested in being a Dermatologist in the Air force and attending Texas University at Austin or Texas A&M.

Focus on what you love. You will be involved in this field for the rest of your adult working life. Make sure that it is something you enjoy and are passionate about. Don't focus on the money, focus on your passion.

I would spend more time exploring options and really digging into what I want to do and what would make me happy. I love my current position but I have only been here 5 years and if I would have known sooner what direction I wanted to head to I would have been able to advance my career more than I have at this point. I did a lot of switching around with my majors and studied a lot of different areas. The education I received is invaluable and I like having a lot of different areas I can excel at so I do not regret it at all. Having more of a plan and better direction for myself would have been the only thing I would have changed.
