Is there any information you wish you would’ve known before advancing in your career path?

I am a senior at Brennan High School and i’m interested in being a Dermatologist in the Air force and attending Texas University at Austin or Texas A&M

Yes, its good to have following information before you advance in that career path

  1. Industry growth - its important to know how is the market or industry growing related to that profession, for instance AI/ML are really hot industries right now
  2. What is the salary curve for that industry
  3. What are the exit options or accelerated growth paths for that particular career path

Hello Divya!

It is hard to know what you truly want to be and often it takes a long time to figure that out, however during the journey you learn what you are really good at, where your strengths, skills and passion lie. If only we had a crystal ball that could tell us this info about yourselves instead of having to wait and learn it. Follow your heart, gut and instincts. Do what you LIKE and interests you. This will lead you to your perfect career.
