The construction industry is vast, offering many opportunities. I've chosen to be a construction manager, overseeing skilled trades like carpenters, masons, and electricians. I love my job, even though it sometimes means working longer hours than the tradespeople, who usually work a regular 8-hour day, 5 days a week. Projects often have deadlines, so sometimes we all need to put in extra hours or work on weekends.
The hours you work will depend on your specific trade and the projects you take on.

Construction is a collection of trades used to complete a project i.e. Buildings of various types factory, housing, warehouses ,highways and the list goes on. The trades range from general labors to higher paying skilled trade craftsman each assuming a roll in building a particular structure
Find a trade perferrably one where the area has a high demand for workers
Become well aquainted with the union or local comanies in the area
Become indespensible in your craft learn all you can in your fieild of expertise. Most areas have apprenticeship programs
