I am currently taking computer science 1, but i am not liking the amount of math. I would love to work for a big technology company such as samsung electronics or google, would changing my major to Digital Media Tech be helpful for my future career?

My community college doesn't offer many academics, but I really want to work with technology in my future. #technology #tech #samsung

Agree strongly with Avi, cs will be more helpful. The danger is mostly that you won't learn as much, and fall behind other candidates.

If you are struggling with the math, I encourage you to take more math - the logical thinking will help immensely. Thst said, don't be too scared off, because the amount of math used later drops significantly. On the job, the amount of math you use is likely to be zero.

For Google specifically, while degree doesn't strictly matter, you are more likely to get the attention of a recruiter with a cs degree.
