Forestry and Wildlife is a vast and interesting subject. By choosing to study it, you have made the right decision.
You can become anything you want. Be it like an ornithologist, a zoologist, a wildlife conservator or even a wildlife photographer. If you are really passionate, you can join the NGC.
You should be studying about the flora and fauna and some of the Wildlife Protection and Conservation laws.

Forestry is a great career choice. I suggest reading more into it and even volunteering as much as you could if it’s something you’d love to do. There are plenty of routes and options once you get into the field.

Forestry is a vast field encompassing resource management, GIS, urban forestry, wildlife management, forest ecology, plant pathology, wood products engineering (pulp and paper, etc.) just to name a few of the possibilities. Research opportunities to volunteer. I just Googled "forestry volunteer opportunities in Toronto, Canada." There are many websites from tree planting to conserving ducks.
