What high school should I go to?

It is important to ask this because if you go to a good high school than most likely you will go to a good college. #college #career #higher-education #football

Taylor’s Answer

Hey Nathan! Great question!

I think it does help a bit but ultimately your personal ability matters much more. I wouldn't think so much on what college you want to attend. It doesn't make a huge difference on what college you go to.

Good luck!

Iwona’s Answer

Hello. What really matters is what you put into your high school experience and what you get out of it. College admissions will quickly notice if you put in a lot of yourself in high school (good grades, volunteering in different clubs, athletics, extracurricular activities, job, etc) and consider you to be a top candidate. Just because you attend a "top" high school, doesn't guarantee that you will be admitted to top colleges. Sure colleges will take a look at your application but if they see that you are an average or below average student with nothing beyond that, they will quickly reject you and look at someone who is more dedicated to making the most of their high school experience.

Steve’s Answer

Concentrate more on good grades and be involved with academic and even athletic activities. You want to show colleges you are not only smart but well rounded as well. Volunteer work outside of school is helpful as well. The more you can add to your application the better chance a college will realize what talents you posses and send you an acceptance letter! Keep your grades up and if possible take an admission test prep course or work with a tutor. It really helped my son raise his test scores and get into the college he wanted.
