I'M going into my second year at Western Carolina University in Computer Information Technology as my major. My mom an dad have some money issues keeping me in school. But I am trying for every scholarship I can to come up with the funs I need for my second year. I'm on the marching band at school its something I really enjoy. #science #computer

I agree with Patrick's response about Cloudy Technology. This field is still very strong and I live in the Austin area where Computer Technology is always strong and growing with vast number of tech companies (plus it is just a fun city to live). Keep up the hard work looking for any scholarships that are available. Another option that I took to receive my MBA is to find a tech company and just get in the door. Many companies offer tuition reimbursement while working as you gain technical experience. It is time consuming and you must be disciplined but it was a worthwhile investment of my time .

You are in a growing field. The expansion of the technology industry has not stopped and it has taken more relevance in the past years. Information technology has become part of our way of living.

I understand your conflict as I had some financial issues during my college years, I would recommend you keep looking for options to remain in school. The path you have set up will let you excel once you are working, and I know your parents will be very proud of you.

Patrick’s Answer

I think the field will continue to be strong. Right now the huge push is cloud technology - learning cloud services is a huge key to success I think.
