Sebastian’s Answer

Hi again Jason,
I found this nice web that talks about it really well and short and also has a video that explains so well. Look at it. It will help you a lot.
https://study.com/articles/How_to_Become_a_Master_Mechanic_Education_and_Career_Roadmap.html.
But my best advice would be to go to a repair shop and talk to the owner and employees if you can.

Hope it helps.
Goodbye

Latricia’s Answer

Hi, Jason

A similar answer to your other 'master mechanics' question.

The requirements for an automotive Master Mechanic are:
~ Obtain a high school diploma, take as many automotive, electrical, math, and English electives as possible
~ Get some experience, at least two years of experience working as a mechanic while preparing for certification
~ Consider additional education in automotive technology, in the form of certification and/or an associate's degree programs in automotive technology
~ Earn a master mechanic certification, this involves passing eight (8) certifications that have to be renewed every five (5) - so it is ongoing professional development as technologies change

Beyond that,
~ One could become specialized in motorcycles, high-performance vehicles, racing vehicles, design, and more
~ One could own their own automotive shop as entrepreneurship is another set of skills

Hope that this is helpful!

Sagi’s Answer

Hey Jason,

as Mechanical Engineer (ME) graduated in Israel, Ben Gurion University. You can achieve Masters in Mechanics in 6 years,
4 years to earn B.Sc and 2 years to earn M.Sc .

In General, Mechanics is very wide field, you can master in fluid dynamics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer etc.
My advice is that you will find the specific field you feel most connecting to.
it could be:
~ Motors/cars - this field is rapidly growing, we'll see in near future a lot of autonomous cars
~ Flying machines (Drones / Planes etc.) /Rockets
~3D Designing (Weapons /3D Metal printing)
~Agriculture

The is short list I thought about instantly. Basically you can master each field I mentioned and more than that.
it's all depends on you. you just need to be focus on the job/career/study you wise for yourself :)

Best Regards,
Sagi
