If i'm going to be a psychiatrist what would my gross be?
I'm asking because I would like to know what I would earn if I'm a psychiatrist #psychology #pre-med #psychiatry
The median annual salary for a psychiatrist as of May 2011 was $170,350, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The average earnings were $174,170 annually. However, 10 percent of all psychiatrists in the United States earned no more than $67,460 per year -- and 25 percent earned $122,980 or less.

Here's a website for many occupations: www.payscale.com
Salaries vary geographically even within the same occupation. When you have finished with medical school, a residency and perhaps a fellowship as well, it is very likely that you will need to pay off significant school loans. So, you must factor in the cost of going to a professional school after you've finished with your bachelor's degree.
