You just have to apply for an pediatric critical care internship or residency when you become a graduate nurse. You can do your last class (capstone) in the NICU and that will increase your chances of getting hired.


Work as a patient care tech in the NICU as well while you are in school. It will allow you to understand the dynamics of the ICU and get great hands on experience.
