What is the most effective way to view the way different careers work in a short period of time?

I'm very interested in numerous fields and I would like to do an internship over the summer. However, I only have time to do one thoroughly and I want it to be doing something I enjoy. #teaching #law #architecture

Start with your interest. Before starting the internship, ask if you can rotate within the company, i.e. spend time interning in numerous departments.


If you want to try to do multiple internships, you might consider a week at each place to get a feel for what you like.


Whatever you decide to do, remember to network.

Agree with the above comment, I recommend thinking through what the areas are you are interested in. Check on career sites which company offers internship opportunities, make your research about them and choose the one you like the most.
