Speaking in terms of your professional life you should try to get a job or internship. Not only will it give you experience to add to your resume but could also help you earn extra cash and prevent the need for a side job while in classes. It can be hard to work and study at the same time so if you can save money and afford yourself the luxury of focusing on your social life and studying during the semester, you should do that. You could also do a service trip. That's a fun way to see new places, make new friends, and become comfortable with being independant and living on your own for a while. It's also a great resume booster that can help diversify you when applying to internships in a couple years
