[closed] What are small methods used to use to get better at general management?

Hello,

I am a business senior at Concordia University, and I have an interest in management because it is my major. I would like to gain more real world knowledge of management outside of the classroom so that I use them for a workplace. What are some small things that I can do to get better at managing things? For example, if I want to get better at being more focused, what should I do?

I would recommend you read FYI: For Your Improvement, A Guide for Development and Coaching.
This book has taught me my strengths and weaknesses and what I can do to develop myself.


You can seek out businesses and see if there are any opportunities to shadow or mentor members of management to get a better understanding of the position demands.
