[closed] Where are mentorshop programs available for those who would like to become managers?

Hello,

My name is Aimee and I am a current business major in college. I have an interest in administration and a major in management. I would like to seek more information and some real-world professional knowledge that I can work with. For those who are business students and who want to try their hand in the business force, what can they do to participate in training programs? #business #business-administration #office-management

Hello Aimee, I totally agree with your approach. I start my working day to clean my desk (move files to the right file share, check mails I sent the day before, if I need to archive them or if the recipinet answered meanwhile). In case of many tasks and emails, I spread them into the "important (or not) / urgent (or not) matrix". I don't use WhatsApp or Facebook to avoid a mass of unimportant messages. People who need to reach me, know my email-address or phone numbers. I prioritize my tasks regularly. If somebody has a new task for me which is very important for him, I ask my manager or bring the different parties together so that they may decide which one has the higher priority. I have a list for my own tasks which I update at the end of every working day, so that I can start the next day by knowing with which task I start (after cleaning my desk). It seems to be a lot of additional work but the opposite is the case. I know every time where I am currently, can signal, when the number of tasks is to much or will be in the near future. I can steer my working day and I am the boss of my own time management. I am not lost in mails or tasks and avoid to create a mountain of work which is unfeasible. My Managers, colleagues and customers accept this procedure as they know that I will accomplish all tasks in time.
