Hello,
My name is Aimee and I am a business major in college. I have an interest in business administration and a concentration of management, so I would like to learn as much as I can about business principles. Also, I have heard that it is important to know how to type better and faster so that tasks can be completed faster. How can I do this? I hope to be in office management once I obtain my bachelor's degree, and I believe that I will need to know how to type. Not everyone is fast and a pro at typing, so I think that becoming better at it takes some practice and time. Hello Aimee,
Although, strong typing skills are important to accomplishing work, I do not think "effective electronic communication" is all about typing. Perhaps it includes when to use certain types of electronic tools to communicate with different people that you interact with. Being able to communicate effectively and with appropriate style is important. If you google "effective electronic communication" you will see that there are many posts for tips on communicating effectively via the internet. Also called "netiquette" the proper manner to communicate in professional environments.
