Hi Tiffanie.

That's a very Good question.
However Answering that can be difficult, Different people will have different opinion about the level of Satisfaction that they have in their Jobs.
Like the Old Saying goes: If you do what you Like, then you do not have to work for a single Day. Your Job will be like a Cake walk for you and you will be loving every bit of it.
However if you are stuck doing what you do not like then it will be like eating Oatmeal cooked in plain water every single Day.
Satisfaction is nothing but a sense of containment, and how can an individual contain himself / herself, it entirely depends on the decisions and choices the person makes.
Time is Ticking, so make the best use of this invaluable resource.
Best of Luck.

Satisfaction with job depends on each one's mindset. How comfortable you are with your job and the more you learn, your promotions all this would have to be looked into. An open mind and new learning would help you grow in your job profile and it is an added advantage. Choose a job that you are interested in, make use of the resources, so that you are happy and satisfied.

Simeon’s Answer

I'm satisfied with my job because of the opportunities it has provided for me and the skills I've picked up on the job. I'm much more comfortable with Excel than I used to be and have learned a lot about how companies work.

Alexa’s Answer

I currently am not satisfied. But I do not plan on doing this (dental assisting) forever. Why am I not satisfied - I have a degree that I am not putting to use, no opportunities to grow, no perks like health insurance. It feels like a dead end job. Make sure the career you jump into is one you can grown with!

Greetings Tiffanie!!

I think you have asked a super important question, and the responses are going to be varied. Job satisfaction will fluctuate among individuals. Each individual looks for different top ranking performances in companies. For example, some people are more concerned with pay, while others are more concerned with stability, while yet and still, others seek a combination of the two. I think overall job satisfaction is dependent on your ultimate and innate passion. If you have a true passion for what you do and love, then you will love your job. If you are passionate about what you do, then you will NEVER work a day in your life. Find your true passion, and fulfill it!! Finding your passion may take some time, trial, and error, but do not give up. You will sooner than later pinpoint what YOU are truly best at, or be able to narrow down your talents to the most loved and cherished. Good luck!!
