Hi Amy,

There is a great website (O*Net) you can use that shows you which jobs are predicted to have the most job openings. It is based on information from the US Census Bureau and has a TON of useful information. Here are links to your three possible job fields. (Also, each job that has a little sun icon next to it means "bright outlook". This means they are anticipating large numbers of job openings for those positions in the near future)

Pediatrics - https://www.onetonline.org/find/quick?s=pediatrician

Law - https://www.onetonline.org/find/quick?s=law

Finance - https://www.onetonline.org/find/quick?s=finance

I would suggest taking some time to read through the Bright Outlook jobs, as well as others, and see if you can find some areas that are of interest to you. Let me know if you need anything else. Good luck!

Joel

You've asked about which field has the greatest predicted openings between pediatrics, finance and law. These are very different fields. My advice is to research the jobs available in each field, you can use job search tools to see what's out there. After reading about the actual jobs you should select those that are most appealing to you. What is most important is that you find a job working in a field that excites you or at least holds your interest and is one in which you want to continue learning (which can be a scary thought when you're in high school) but the key is to choose something you like and go for a job you think you'll like doing. Then go for it with all you've got!
