I am junior in high school and am wondering about the benefits of being a biomedical engineer. #engineer #benefits

The pay is generally very good, you work on things that can really help people, it's fairly safe compared to, say, working with nuclear reactors, it's interdisciplinary (meaning you have options if you want to switch careers later), and according to CareerCast.com it's the #12 best career for 2014.
