Your chances of getting accepted can vary greatly depending on the school and the other applicants you're up against. When I was an undergrad, architecture, construction, and engineering students were mainly judged on their math and English grades, as well as the number and level of courses they took in high school. So, even if you got a C in health, gym, or chorus, these lower grades might not matter as much as lower grades in subjects like algebra or statistics. Plus, if you've taken related courses in high school, you'll have an edge over those who haven't. Remember, every school offers different programs in high school. So, research the curriculums of the schools you're interested in. If they offer what you want to learn, then check out their admission requirements. If the school's schedule or department doesn't seem like a good fit for you, it might be best not to spend time on the application process.

Hi,
Each school is slightly different in their requirements, though most now require a "core" year or two where you take certain lower level courses before being fully admitted into the architecture program. Most schools also limit the number of people per year in the program. In order to be fully admitted into the architecture program you usually have to prepare a portfolio, an essay, and maybe a presentation which will be judged by a panel of the architecture professors. GPA from your "core" classes will usually be factored into your application score when compared against the other candidates, so the higher your GPA the better your chances of being invited into the program.
The first step though is researching which architecture program you wish to attend and checking the GPA requirements to be admitted to that university.
Hope this helps.
