What are some good ways to collect a lot of scholarships and scholarship money?

In order to pay off some 12 years of higher education I am going to need a lot of money and the best way to do that is to get scholarships in my case because it's money for your merits that you don't have to pay back. #college-admissions #college-bound #scholarships

Hi Nada:

  1. Apply! Amazing to hear that many scholarships go un-awarded; and you also won't get anything if you don't ask, right?

  2. Look for highly unique/niche scholarships that apply to you and your background/family ties:

-- Location
-- Ethnicity
--Where your parent(s) work
-- your field of study

-- Government
-- Armed Services
-- Left handed, vegetarian, unique personality, gifted writer????

They exist :)

Best to you!

Thank you comment icon Thank you so much Bridget!!! I didn't even know scholarships were given for those kinds of things! Nada

Hello,
There are many excellent places to find scholarships both in your community and online. Fastweb Scholarships is a helpful website that has been offering resources for over 15 years. It's free to join, and you can search for scholarships and grants that you might qualify for. Additionally, looking into local organizations can uncover scholarship opportunities you might not be aware of. For example, I discovered a scholarship from the Boys and Girls Club, which I attended as a child. To maintain it, I had to keep my grades up, volunteer 20 hours a year at the Boys and Girls Club, and write about my experiences. There are opportunities out there; you just need to look for them. Good luck!
