Priya’s Answer

When you go to grad school, I would think that it would depend largely in the field you chose to be in and the theory you pick. Personally, I think all levels are important, but from my experience I learned the individual level and picked a theory that deals in the individual level. I think as mentioned there is no wrong answer here though. It just depends on how you think, what field you are in, and what angle you decide to approach things. At least, that is my opinion!

Kartik’s Answer

Hey Ella!

It is great question, Remember human is a social animal and it isn't always about self but also inter individuals dynamic so while conceptualising client case you may would like to consider all the level of personal identity.
I agree with Priya, also it depends on your approach. While in psychodynamic approache you may focus more on clients intra dynamics. But while considering behavioural approach people ,friends play key role too.
So according to me it is best to consider all the dimensions as possible as at the end all provisional diagnosis are hypothesis which may or may not be true focusing on all dimensions will give you balanced perspective
